Matrox has been offering its DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go graphics solutions for supporting multiple monitors on computer systems for a while now. The company has now announced that users wanting even more than two or three displays can double their display capacity when using the Matrox adapters.

Matrox now supports the addition of a second GXM module to the first doubling the number of monitors that can be shared. A second GXM can be connected to the secondary output of a supported dual monitor graphics card allowing up to four output with dual head units and up to six with triple head units.

The multi-GXM support is supported in software versions 2.06 and higher. A max of two GXM models of the same make and model are supported. That means no mixing dual and triple head units.
