Verifone PAYware Mobile App Available And Hardware Shipping

There are lots of businesses that have workers in the field delivering goods and services that could use a way to allow customers to pay using credit cards. Verifone has announced that its PAYware Mobile system is now ready to ship.

The software portion is an iPhone app that is available on the App Store right now for purchase. The credit card encryption sleeve will be shipping soon. Together the software and hardware allow the user to process credit cards in conjunction with the PAYware gateway services system.

The software and hardware devices are compatible with the iPhone 3G and 3GS and can be purchased through Verifone distributors. The company says that the system allows for swiping of cards and can save up to 30% per transaction compared to manually entering numbers.
