Netbooks are anemic in terms of power, and they generally lack very much space. Anything you can do to make that machine run faster without bulking it up will make a huge difference. That's why Intel has just upgraded their N475 and N455 processors to be able to support DDR3 RAM.

The first DDR3 netbooks to sport these processors are expected to launch in Q3 of this year. That ought to jack your multi-tasking capabilities up a couple of notches.
