Sprint and RealNetworks have announced a new agreement that will streamline the delivery of digital music to Sprint wireless network. A new agreement between the two firms will make all sorts of digital music including ringtones, ringback tones, and digital tracks available in a unified digital music store.

The two companies will work together to streamline the Sprint digital music service across all Sprint mobile devices and increase the efficiency of the system. Real will use its end-to-end Media Entertainment platform to manage and deliver the digital music.

The main goal of the service is to get Sprint customers to buy more music by making the music and other digital content easier to access and buy. Real works with several other mobile operators around the world who have similar music offerings.
