MWC: Emporia Debuts Elegance And Solid Mobile Phones

A company called emporia from Austria who makes mobile phones aimed at simple communications has announced a pair of new handsets at MWC called the Elegance and Solid. The idea behind the handsets is that they are easy to use and are aimed at older users who want a device that is simple and easy to operate.

The Elegance is set to debut in Q2 and operates on GSM 900/1800. The handset has a 1.8-inch OLED screen and supports texting and talking. The device has 250 hours of standby and three hours of talk time. It measures 106 x 50 x 17mm and includes a case and car charger.

The Solid is set to hit in Q3 with the same 1.8-inch OLED screen and is water resistant and dirt repellent. It supports Bluetooth and has 250 hours of standby time and three hours of talk time. The Solid handset measures 115 x 57.5 x 19.3mm making it a bit larger than the Elegance.
