One of the biggest announcements to come out of MWC so far was the new Windows Phone 7 platform from Microsoft. HTC has long been a big maker of Windows Mobile handsets and despite an increasing focus on Android devices, HTC has stated in the past that it will still make Windows handsets.

With the unveiling of Windows Phone 7 we can expect to see the platform turn up on HTC handsets in the future. HTC announced at MWC that it would be offering a full portfolio of phones running Windows Phone 7 OS.

HTC offers no specific details on handsets and only says that it will support the new platform. The devices will have Xbox LIVE Games along with the Zune music service. No word is offered on when we might see the handsets pop up.
