Josh Ling and the apple of his eye, Ting, were married this week in New York City. That has nothing to do with technology, until we add the detail that the couple tied the knot at the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue.

According to the Entertainment Weekly story, the couple met at the store, where Ting was looking for a new iPod. Josh struck up a conversation then and there, and the two fell in love.

"I used to joke that the Apple Store is my church because I am not religious, and I loved everything Apple. Ting then came up with the idea of having the wedding there," said Josh.

Other flourishes at the ceremony included the fact that the Priest was dressed in a black turtleneck, in the vein of Steve Jobs, and the ring was attached to an iPod. It makes me wonder if the couple's wedding gift registry included the App Store...
