Vodafone has announced that it will be getting the new Sony Ericsson Vivaz handset next month. Starting on March 9 the mobile phone will be on the network for free if shoppers opt for the 2-year contract at £30 monthly.

That plan provides 600 minutes of talk and those needing more talk can get 900 minutes for another £5 per month. The handset has an 8.1MP camera, video recording, and other multimedia features.

The device was first spotted at MWC last week. It's good to see the handsets that only recently debuted already getting launch dates on major carriers.
