WiMax! The sweet, sweet 4G salvation we've all been crying for is about to spread even further across the country. AndroidSpin reports that Sprint has just announced that their WiMax service is about to expand into “many” new markets. San Francisco, Denver, Washington, Boston, Minneapolis, Kansas City, New York City, and Houston will all get 4G in 2010.

By the end of the year, Sprint expects its mobile broadband service to reach around 120 million people in the US. A huge increase in coverage area, plus the rumored launch of the HTC Supersonic. Could this be the year Sprint finally stops bleeding into the dust?
