The default Android browser is good, but not so good that I'd write home about it. There's room for improvement in the Android browsing experience. Enter Opera Mini 5. It's just hit the Android market (via BGR), which means you can download and start using it right now. Take that Dolphin.

Mini 5 offers tabbed browsing and a download manager. It has speed dial, which lets you queue up a favorite websites with a single click, and opera link, which lets you sync up your bookmarks between devices.

If you want to give Opera Mini 5 a try, just download it. There's no charge, and you might end up liking it. At the very least, variety is the spice of life.
