The speculation is over. T-Mobile has just given confirmation on the launch and price of the HTC HD2 (via PhoneNews). The HD2 will hit stores on March 24. It will cost $449 on an Even-More-Plus service plan, or $199.99 with a 2-year contract.

The HD2 will pack a Blockbuster application that allows users to rent and buy movies over WiFi. Since the HD2 comes loaded with a 16GB microSD card, you'll have plenty of room for a couple of flicks. There's also a Barnes & Noble reader application. Since the HD2 has that spacious 4.3" screen, it makes a fairly good e-reder.
