The PS3 Slim was a big success for Sony. With it, they were able to reinvigorate interest in their headlining console and rack up some fairly impressive sales. At least for a while. Now it looks like Microsoft might have their hearts set on trying the exact same thing. (Kotaku)

Images of the new 360's motherboard have leaked out. This new board combines the CPU and GPU together, which allows it to be much tinier. It could very well be that Microsoft is revamping the 360 in order to have a new version to push alongside Project Natal this holiday season. Cheaper, tinier Xboxes shipping bundled with Project Natal?

That sounds like a recipe for a lot of merry Christmases.
