I live in a more rural part of Texas where you need a car since everything is so spread out. It takes miles of driving to get to the store or take the kids to school. In large cities where everything is close together many people can get by walking or riding a bike around.

A new bike concept for urban types called the Single Gear Wonder has surfaced. The bike has a rubber belt instead of a chain and has more control and maneuverability than a typical bike. The bike also has a suspension for a smooth ride.

The bike chassis is made from recyclable molded plastic to make the bike a green device that can be recycled when it is no longer needed. The machine also has a dynamo built-in to power a headlight and tail light. Disc brakes are used to stop the bike.
