Now you can track every single registered commercial flight in US airspace with one button-push on your iPhone. Welcome to the new Flightwise app.

Flightwise is the longest-running Web outlet for flight tracking. Users can simply punch in the airline and flight number, and all the info is provided in one shot. There are also more details than the typical airline site provides.

For example, weather data throughout the entire flight path is displayed, and users can search for all flights that are near their current location.

The iPhone app has three different versions: A Free version, a Lite version ($0.99), and a Pro version ($9.99). The Lite version is just like the Free version except there are no ads.

The Pro version has fully customizable maps in which users can put FAA and IFR overlays, see more sophisticated details from flight searches, and create their own flight lists.

All versions of the app are available now from the App Store. Details are available here.
