LG Remarq Eco-friendly Mobile Coming To Sprint

Sprint and LG have announced that the new eco-friendly Remarq handset is coming to the Sprint network. The device will land on May 9th in all Sprint stores and will sell for $19.99 after an instant rebate and a $50 mail-in rebate along with a new contract.

The device is a sliding QWERTY handset with a 1.3MP camera, MP3 player, microSD card slot, Stereo Bluetooth, and messaging capability. The handset also has access to Facebook and Twitter. Email connectivity is featured as well.

The packaging for the Remarq is made from 87% post-consumer material and is 100% recyclable. The bright pain used on the handset is green as well with low-halogen paint with fewer chemicals. Soy inks are also used in the packaging and the handset has low levels of PVC and BFRs. The device has an online only user manual.
