Buy This Now On Amazon

I have played more than my share of Rock Band and Guitar Hero since the games launched. I have not played DJ Hero though and honestly, the game doesn't appeal to me much. Rap isn’t really my genre. If you are a big fan of the game, looking to get into some scratch contests with your pals you can now buy standalone DJ controllers.

Activision announced today that stand-alone DJ Hero controllers are now available in stores around the country. The first 100,000 to buy will also get a free Shepard Fairey poster. With a second controller, the player can access dual player modes.

The modes include a DJ vs. DJ competitive mode for head-to-head battles. Players can also MC with a mic or play along with a Guitar Hero controller for DJ-guitar exclusive mixes. That actually sounds cool.
