Two new Acer Aspite Ethos notebooks have just been shown off to the world. ITechNews reports that the 8943G and 5943G have been spotted (and detailed) in the wild. The 5943G has a 15.6” screen and the 8943G has an 18.4” full-HD LED-backlit display. Both can have up to 4 GB of RAM.

Other features of these Ethos machines include dual 640 GB HDDs, DVD burners and Blu-ray drives, a multi-in-one card reader, chiclet keyboard, fingerprint scanner, Dolby Home Theater audio, an eSATA port, and an HDMI port. Bluetooth 2.1 and b/g/n WiFi are all supported.

These Ethos notebooks have a very interesting sweep to their screen that fits along with the curve of the body. These are some of the better-designed notebooks we've seen in months. Kudos to Acer for making something beautiful.
