FCC filings are always good for a few interesting bits of news. In the case of the Xperia X10, the filings held a torrent of information. The FCC put up a detailed set of photos of the X10 in varying states of dis-assembly. They also posted up the smartphone's entire 40 page user manual, which gives us a much better idea of how this device will function. The most interesting fact gleaned from the filing is the news that the X10 could be headed to T-Mobile (Boy Genius) after all. The Declaration of FCC Conformity lists three different 3G bands; 1, 4 and 8. Those also happen to be T-Mo's AWS 3G bands. This is far from a 'done deal', there's been no official confirmation and its possible that T-Mo will opt to not carry the phone. This is just another smartphone mystery that'll have to wait until 2010 for a solution.
