The iPad is launching this coming Saturday, assuming you have pre-ordered your device already. If not you will have to wait until April 12th to get your device. With the iPad coming soon, there are a number of new services and new info coming out about magazines and video for the iPad.

Ooyala has Announced that it will be offering a video solution for the iPad that will support video delivery to the device. The seamless integration with the iPad will help newspapers and magazines create rich iPad video to share with readers.

The Ooyala platform is already in use on many major publications websites according to the company. The Ooyala player is capable of recognizing the platform the video is playing on and optimizing the playback to the device.
