Asus Shows Off New Designo LCDs Down Under

Asus has unveiled a new PC displays in Australia called the Designo Series LED backlit monitors. The new monitors are eco friendly with slim 16.5mm profiles and screen sizes that range from 21.5" to 23.6". The displays are certainly attractive devices with glossy black cases.

The contrast ratio for the screen is 10,000,000:1 dynamic and it uses what Asus calls an Ergo Fit ring for a stand. The gray-to-gray response time for the screen is 2ms and the display has five pre-set modes for gaming, movies, and other uses.

The 23-inch MS238H will sell for $AU599 with the 21.5-inch MS228H selling for $AU499. The larger screen has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a brightness of 250CD/m2. There is no word on availability in other countries at this time.
