I have never hears of the social video platform Kyte. If you have, the good news is that the company has said that it will support the iPad via HTML5. The company is offering a new SDK for developers looking to offer Kyte-powered apps on the iPad.

The apps built using the SDK will be distributable via the App Store. The SDK will also allow developers to turn existing apps into HTML5 apps that will run on the iPad.

Kyte is a video platform that lets organizations offer video that will play on the iPad. This is important since the iPad lacks Flash support, which much of the video online relies on. Apps developed with the SDK will also work on the iPhone and iPod touch.
