Sprint is maying a major play for the customer service crown today. They've just sent out a press release announcing the establishment of the Sprint Free Guarantee. This amounts to a full money-back guarantee to all service plan customers who do not like Sprint after 30 days. If the customer is unsatisfied, they will be reimbursed for the full cost of their plan.

As long as you return your phone, the device purchase price, activation fee, and any any recurring charges will be refunded. No early termination fee will be charged. The restocking fee is also waived entirely. Normally press releases inflate things a lot, but there's no arguing that this is the best deal of its type in the industry.

The ball is in T-Mo, Verizon, and AT&T's court now. They can decide to match Sprint, or hope that the carrier's seeming resurgence is just a fluke.
