You might recall yesterday that I mentioned my iPad was stuck in China. At the same time, I also said I was irritated about the thing being available in stores the same day my pre-ordered unit would come in.

When I ordered my iPad, I wanted to get the thing as fast as possible so I picked the expedited shipping option without really thinking about it. After I thought about it, I realized that the expedited shipping was not needed since all iPads were being held for delivery on Saturday.

That is assuming Saturday delivery is offered in your area. I received an email from Apple today that said expedited shipping was not required on the iPad and they refunded my $13. That was a good thing to do since it was basically giving them $13 for nothing. I still wonder why they offered expedited shipping anyway, I bet it's baked into the cart.
