At least one iPad dev has braved Apple's ludicrous security measures and restrictive secrecy agreements. Chillingo now brags that they have 14 apps ready for the iPad launch. Several of these are old games, revamped to be optimized with the iPad. Angry Birds HD is a puzzle-game with a Seussian style, Minigore HD is a survival shooter where you kill Furries, and Cash Cow Deluxe is another puzzle game.

Cogs HD is a steampunk puzzle game where you build massive 3D machines, while Puzzler World XL is a huge collection of classic games (Hangman, Sudoku, Crossword). There's Super Shock Football HD for the sport's-loving iPad user, and Sword of Fargoal Legends (a retro dungeon questing game) for the huge nerds. Most of these games come in at $4.99, although Puzzler World XL and Sword are both $7.99.
