The iPad is out! And the first in-use verdicts are in. While, by most accounts, the general population of users are happy with their new tablets, some issues have surfaced. Electronista reports that several iPad users have reported issues with charging their new devices via USB.

Windows-using iPad owners report problems charging their iPads from even the rear USB ports. This problem does not appear to extend to Mac users. The AC adapter itself seems to work fine as well. Apple should be offering a fix here quickly, although the fact that this appears to hit only Windows users may slow things down.
