A new version of the EyeTV app has just hit the App Store. Version 1.0.2 allows you to stream live TV over WiFi or 3G connections. No configuration is needed to set up live TV over your local WiFi network on your iPhone. For 3G (or to stream to a remote Mac) you'll need to use Elgato's free My Eye TV locator utility.

To use EyeTV for the iPhone, you'll need a Mac that has EyeTV 3.3.3 installed. Minimum system requirements are an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. Elgato recommends Turbo.264 HD for adaptive streaming of a live signal over a 3G connection.

The EyeTV app is available now for 4.99. EyeTV 3.3.3 is also available now as a free update to all EyeTV 3 users. You can also buy an EyeTV tuner at the Elgato Store.
