Rackspace Offers Cloud Services For IPad Users

Now that the iPad is on the market, the rush to get new services and features out to iPad users from various companies is on. Web hosting service Rackspace has announced that tit has a new Cloud Server management and Cloud Pro service available for the iPad.

The Cloud Pro service lets the user of an iPad turn on backups for a server, create new servers from backups, and manage backup scheduling and more. The app is available for free at the iTunes store.

The applets the user log into their server and see the status of the Rackspace Cloud as well as showing support numbers. The app lets the user ping the public IP address of a Cloud Server to see if the server is responding.
