Sony unveiled a roadmap to become a company with "zero environmental load" by 2050.
Sony sees the most potential of reducing greenhouse gases in making their products use less energy. According to Tech-ON the medium term goal for 2015 is to reduce power consumption per each product by 30%.

Sony's ultimate goal is to equip their gadgets with for instance solar cells that generate needed electricity by themselves. It will be a fine future when our gadgets do not need power adapters anymore - we will be free!
