Today we have hot spots for WiFi all around the country in many public locations, WiFi in airplanes, and WiFi on trains among other places. One of the last frontiers for being connected to the internet is in the car.

3 has announced that it is rolling out a new device that provides in car WiFi to passengers in the car. The device connects to the 3 3G network when available and turns the car into a rolling hotspot.

The device includes an in-car charger and a windscreen holder for positioning. The device will sell for £60 and include 1Gb of data per month. Don’t go downloading any movies.
