Mitsubishi Announces 3D DLP HDTV Line

Mitsubishi has just sent out a press release announcing the launch of a new line of large screen 3D DLP HDTVs. These monolithic televisions have 16-speaker, 5.1 channel Dolby Digital surround sound and Internet media streaming abailities. They come in 60, 65, 73, and 82 inch screen sizes. These new TVs sport StreamTV internet media and immersive sound technology, as well as access to over 100 apps.

All 638, 738, and Diamond 838 series TVs include a 3D DLP link, Brilliant/Bright/Natural and Game modes, full 1080p, 3 HDMI slots, HDMI-PC compatibility, 2 composite video inputs, and an MDEA 6-color processor. The 638 series starts at $1,199 and goes up to $2,000. The 738 series starts at $1400 and goes up to $3800. The 838 series starts at $2200 and goes up to $4500.
