MynaTime Workout Assistant is a new application designed exclusively for Apple's Mac OS X operating system that delivers real-time workout instructions and statistics.

Users can type up their own workout routines and then use MynaTime to speak those instructions as the user works out.

The software comes from Vaura, a company that specializes in workout products for Apple. Its other main product is SmartTiming, which is basically a workout timer.

Describing MynaTime, Vaura VP Joe Klingler said, "It’s like having a buddy with a stopwatch working out right next to you. You don’t need to worry about time, counting reps, or how many pounds to use."

The software also allows users to record video of the workout session and export data to iCal. Additionally, it can sync to an iPad or iPhone to playback music during the workout.

MynaTime is available now for around $35.
