The Xbox 360 Slim has yet to be confirmed, but it already seems like a foregone conclusion. The idea worked well for Sony, and no console is as in need of a slim-down as the 360. Michael Pachte, an analyst at Wedbush Morgan, states that Microsoft's plans extend beyond just the Slim. SlashGear reports that he has predicted a bundled 360 Slim+Project Natal before the year's end.

He expects the Slim to initially launch in late-2010 for $299 (with a 250 GB HDD). The Natal bundle shold launch a little later in the year, and he expects it to hit that same $299 price point. Even if this doesn't end up being totally accurate, it's still a good idea to hold off on buying a 360 until Natal launches.
