If you plan to travel to the holy land at some point in the near future, you'd do well to leave your iPad at home. TechEye reports that Israeli authorities are now blocking the import of all iPads into their country. Customs have been directed to confiscate all such devices.

The iPad does not meet Israel's wireless device standards. Since the EU and Israel have identical standards, this could lead to some interesting future conflict. Maybe the international iPad was delayed as a result of these issues?
