Maingear Unveils Updated EX-L 15 Gaming Notebook

Boutique PC manufacturer Maingear has announced that it has updated one of its gaming notebooks called the eX-L 15. The machine sports the same 15-inch HD screen and now has a new GPU inside for more performance.

The new GPU is the ATI Radeon 5870. The screen on the machine supports 1080p resolution and is LED backlit. The notebook also has a 30-day dead pixel warranty on the LCD.

CPU options include a variety of Core i5 and i7 2010 Intel CPUs. Connectivity features include DVI, HDMI, and S/PDIF audio out. The notebook starts at $1,599.
