Everyone and their sister is getting into the tablet game these days. Alessi, a kitchenware maker, has just been spotted working on a tablet (via BGR). The AlessiTab is designed to be a countertop/living room computer. It is super-thin itself, and docks into a base-station for an e-photo frame look. Separated from the docking station, the AlessiTab is good for about 6 hours of use.

This tablet is expected to launch in Europe in September 2010. It will cost roughly 300 Euros ($403) and packs a USB port and an SD card slot. There's no word on what sort of video the tab can handle. The video shows us a glimpse of what might be an extendable WiFi radio. Otherwise, the hardware is a mystery.
