Barnes&Noble announced today new features for the Nook eBook reader that come via a firmware update.
The new offerings include cool things like reading eBooks for free when you inside a B&N store. This is a neat idea, but limited to 1 hour per day.

Other new features include a web browser (beta), chess game, sudoku, Wi-Fi improvements and other small enhancements.
The nook eReader still sells for $259.
