CinemaView, Inc. announced that its new 24-inch LCD display for Mini DisplayPort Macs is now shipping.
The CinemaView 24 works with any Mini DisplayPort equipped Mac and has a similar design to the Apple LED Cinema Display. The display offers full HD 1920x1080px resolution and connects natively, without adapters.

It is priced at $399, which is $500 less than Apple's 24-inch display.

The lower price also gets you less - like most times in life. The CinemaView 24 has a lower resolution (the Apple Cinema Display has 1920 by 1200 pixels) and no LED backlighting. Also missing are the iSight camera, MagSafe connector and, most importantly, the Apple logo.
The CinemaView 24 is now on sale on the CinemaView site.
