Amp Inc has unveiled a new line of SSDs that it called the SATAsfaction Series. The line has high performance and other features that make the appropriate for any 2.5-inch installation in the enterprise market.

The line of SSDs use a 2.5-inch form factor and support SATA 3.0 interface. Amp promises performance of 30,000 random write IOPS. Other features include ATA-7 compliance, NCQ support; PIO and UDMA-6 are also supported.

The SSDs have advanced power management and have integrates ECC functionality. Trim is supported and the SSDs are S.M.A.R.T capable. Pricing and availability are unknown.
