We have been hearing rumors and grumblings about new Blackberry handsets landing this spring for a while now. We already knew the names of the devices were the Blackberry Bold 9650 and the Pearl 3G. Today the two handsets have been unveiled and a few more specs on the devices are now known.

The bold 9650 will be a candy bar smartphone with a 3.2MP camera and a screen of unspecified size. The screen is said to be a large high resolution unit. The device will sport GPS and WiFi connectivity. Network support includes quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE.UMTS or dual-band CDMA/EV-DP Rev A.

The Pearl 3G is GSM only and gets the same vague high resolution large screen. It also gets a 3.2MP camera, GPS, and WiFi. Both handsets get the new track pad rather than the breakage prone ball of yore. The Bold 9650 is expected next month on Sprint with the Pearl landing in Canada then as well.
