Trendnet Ships New 150Mbps Mobile WiFi Router

Trendnet has announced that it is now shipping the 150Mbps TEW-655BR3G mobile wireless N router. The router works with any 3G USB modem for mobile broadband and allows you to share the connectivity between computers on the road.

The router will work with ant 3G or 3.5G modem from Sprint, AT&T, or Verizon. The router has an internal replaceable lithium ion battery good for 2.5 hours of use per charge. The router can also be used with an optional car power adapter for road trips.

The router supports WPS and can be turned off to save battery power when not needed. The router also has a LAN/WAN port and the antennas are internal for easy portability. The modem supports UMTS/HSPA, WCDMA (HSDPA), CDMA2000 (EV-DO), and TD-SCDMA networks.
