Asus Releases Crosshair IV Formula And M4A89TD Pro AMD 890FX Mainboards

With AMD launching its new Phenom II X6 6-core CPU officially the mainboards supporting the new chips and the new AMD chipset are now getting official as well. Asus has unveiled tow new boards that support the AMD 890FX chipset.

The new boards include the gamer oriented Crosshair IV Formula. The board has Asus TurboV software and Turbo Unlocker to adjust CPU speed automatically based on workload. The software will give best performance no matter the workload.

The M4A89TD Pro mainboards is an affordable board aimed at the enthusiast. It also features TurboV Evo software, but offers less of the gamer focused features that the Crosshair IV features. Both of the boards feature SATA 6Gb/s and USB 3.0 ports.
