Japan has outdone the rest of the world once more. Yesterday the Kansai International Airport Departure Area got its very own 200” plasma screen display. The device is the largest such screen in the entire world (Akihabara News). It is 4 meters high and three meters wide.

The screen will serve as a decoration, as well as an educational tool for the display of public entertainment and sightseeing options in the region. Also, I bet Avatar would look pretty awesome on that thing.
