Asus offered up a few tidbits on the Eee 1005PR netbook back during CeBIT in March. The machine has now gone official in its own press release. The little netbook is aimed at multimedia duties and packs in the Broadcom Crystal HD engine for processing HD video.

The little netbook has a 10.1-inch LED backlit screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768. WiFi is built in and the device has Bluetooth connectivity, HD audio, and the battery promises up to 11 hours of run time per charge.

The little machine runs Windows 7 Starter edition and is available starting today at Asus resellers. The netbook can be had for $399.99.
