When OCZ shed its non-core assets like Hypersonic PC and others to focus on its core offerings, one of those core products was computer PSUs. OCZ owns popular and high-end PSU maker PC Power & Cooling and has announced some updated PSUs from the company.

The new PSUs are the Silencer Mk II PSU that carries the 80-Plus certification for efficiency. The PSU has a single +12V rail for efficient power distribution and a thermally controlled 135mm double ball bearing fan.

The new PSU comes in several capacities including 650W, 750W, and 950W and a 500W version with an 80+ bronze certification. These PSUs are aimed at enthusiasts looking for stable power and the enterprise market.
