Not everyone has given up on the Windows 7 tablet game. The ExoPC is due to ship out on September 7th and, according to Blogue du Geek, it will pack a Broadcom Crystal HD recorder.

So the ExoPC will be able to display full 1080p HD. It will be able to handle 1980x1088 resolutions, and a very healthy 2 GB of RAM. Storage space will be a 32 GB SSD, and the processor is an Atom N270. Add in WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 10/100 ethernet port and you've got a pretty solid little tablet.

I have the same worry with the ExoPC that I had with the HP Slate. A Windows 7 tablet is not going to be able to get the battery life that a mobile OS can deliver. If this thing can't deliver 8+ hours of life on a charge, I don't see it capturing a huge niche.
