Panasonic Debuts Rugged Toughbook CF-31 Notebook

Panasonic makes all sorts of rugged computers for uses as varied as the battlefield to field service personnel. The company has announced a new flagship model called the Toughbook CF-31 that is replacing the CF-30.

The CF-31 is about the same size as the CF-30 it replaces, but offers twice the CPU performance of the CF-30. The rig uses an Intel Core i5 with vPro technology and Turbo Boost. Standard graphics are Intel HD and optional graphics are Radeon HD 5650.

The screen of the rugged machine is a 13.1-inch XGA with a touch screen and it has 1000 nits of brightness. Other features include a screen-mounted antenna and optional WWAN, WLAN, WiMax, and Bluetooth is included.
