Earlier this week we had some leaked screen shots that showed the LG Ally was heading towards the Verizon network and would launch officially on May 20. Verizon has officially announced that date as the launch of the device and confirmed the specs as well.

The handset is a slider with a silver and black case and has a 3.2-inch tempered glass touch screen that vibrates for tactile feedback. The slide out keyboard sis a QWERTY unit and the handset has a microSD card slot for storage.

Other features include WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, MP3 player, and a speakerphone. The handset responded to voice command and it runs Android. The Ally will sell for $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and new customer agreement.
