The HTC Evo's big launch event with Sprint has just concluded. BGR reports that the shindig was filled with a lot more than just marketing babble. We now know everything about the Evo's cost and service pricing. As reported earlier, the Evo will cost $199 with a contract and launches on June 4.

To get 4G, you'll need to pay an extra $10 on top of the $69.99 Sprint charges for unlimited voice, texting and data. Adding the mobile hotspot feature to your Evo will drop in an additional $29.99/month charge. In total, that's around $110/month for your 4G phone with the ability to act as a wireless hotspot to 8 gadgets. It sounds pricey, but you have to remember that Sprint's 4G plan is one of the only truly unlimited plans out there.
