Acer To Launch Chrome Device At Computex?

The first Chrome OS devices on the mass market could be very near indeed. Venturebeat reports that “multiple sources” have informed them that Acer will be launching Chrome gadgets at Computex. The show will be held from June 1 to June 5 in Taipei, Taiwan.

Nothing is known of the specifics of these gadgets. More than likely we'll see a new line of netbooks along with some mini-netbooks and, perhaps, a tablet. If we're lucky we might even see a Chrome tablet/notebook. Update:
Acer officially states that they are not working on Google Chrome OS devices.
