Rogers has just announced the launch of the Motorola Quench (via BGR). The Quench is billed as a friend-centric mobile device with MotoBlur over Android 1.5.

The Quench has a 3.1” capacitive touchscreen with a 5 MP camera, WiFi, GPS, and HSDPA. Altogether, a pretty no-frills barebones Android smartphone. It looks great, though, and it can be yours for the low price of $49.99 with a 2-year contract.
